Our Privacy Policy is based on the legal regulations of the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG), the German Broadcast Media Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG), and other legal data protection regulations.

Collecting and Storing Personal Data
It is generally not necessary to submit any personal data to visit our website. Nevertheless, in some cases it may be necessary to collect your personal data to ensure the appropriate delivery of one of our services or products to you, i.e. providing general information about our services, delivering support for our services and products, or delivering update and data services based on the delivery of our apps. If you commission us to provide you with one of our services / one of our products, we collect and store your personal data only to ensure the appropriate provision of the services / fulfillment of the agreement. Collecting and Storing of Usage Data

Using Microsoft’s Skydrive to synchronize application data
HeiReS might utilize the Microsoft Skydrive technologie at certain points to synchronise data between different Windows-based plattforms such as tablets, desptop pc’s or smartphones where reasonable. We guarantee that storing such informations will be only done on your personal, dedicated Skydrive account. Microsoft’s privacy policy for using Skydrive remains unaffected. Data from other applications stored in Skydrive directories remains untouched and we do not try to gain access to. Storing data on Skydrive is only done to make certain documents or settings available to your different devices. It is possible at any time to decline the usage of Skydrive for HeiReS applications on your devices. No information will be stored on Microsoft cloud services by our apps and no synchronisation of your devices will take place. Except from this are apps using other cloudservices than Skydrive to store data, e. g. a data warehouse or Windows Azure database systems. For those cases your operating system will inform you about the necessity of these functions and you will have to individually agree to and accept them before the applications first start.

No data is transfered or processed to anyone at any time without your agreement or unless they are agreed as part of a contract or dedicated service. Processing data to public/govermental services with legal authority to claim information is also only done within the requirements of local and federal law. Internally every employee, subcontractor and partner is informed about our pricacy policies and has to agree them by signing a non-disclosure agreement.
Right of access and disclaimer
You can request information about any data stored without required reasons from us at any time and without further costs. Any of your data stored can be blocked, corrected, or deleted at any time. You can also decline your agreement to our data handling concept on demand. To contact us, please use the information provided on the impressum page of our website. Apps of ours which utilize location services are designed to simply use the derived co-ordinates for auto-configuring the app experience for you. These co-ordinates are not passed to our online servers nor any 3rd parties (unless where explicitly stated) and are not recorded inside the app at any point. When using Microsoft Bing Localization and Visualization Services please note that Microsoft may collect additional usage data automatically as part of their platform components.
